Dr. Hans Otto joined Family Allergy & Asthma in 2011. He is a U.S. Air Force veteran with over 10-years of active duty service and continues his service in the USAF Reserves. Dr. Otto joined us after serving as Chief of Allergy/Immunology and Immunizations at Wright-Patterson AFB Medical Center, Assistant Professor of Medicine Wright State University School of Medicine, Dayton, OH and Assistant Professor of Medicine U.S. University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Bethesda, MD. He continues to serve as volunteer faculty at numerous graduate medical education programs in northern Kentucky and southern Ohio. He is the only National Allergy Bureau certified pollen counter in the Cincinnati metro area. He has served as the President of the Cincinnati Allergy & Asthma Society (2016-2018).
Dr. Amy Parker, MD, CPE is board-certified in allergy, asthma, and immunology for both pediatrics and adults. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia, and medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Parker went on to complete her pediatrics residency and serve as Chief of Pediatric residents at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. She remained at Wilford Hall to complete her fellowship in allergy, asthma, and immunology. This training was followed by 16 years of clinical practice in several U.S. locations and Germany while serving in the United States Air Force.
Enjoying a broad practice of allergy and immunology, she has special interests in insect hypersensitivity, food allergies, eosinophilic esophagitis, and asthma.
Dr. Parker grew up moving around as part of an Air Force family before eventually joining herself, where she would go on to meet her husband. Now with a family of her own, she enjoys watching her kids play on their sports teams and also enjoys running, doing yoga, reading, cooking, and is learning to play tennis.
